Sue
Conner Hayes has been in the Real Estate business for the past 16
years and all those years affiliated with Century 21 Purdum-Epperson,
Inc. Throughout those years she has worked to further her Real Estate
education by completing numerous training programs at the Century
21 Regional office in St. Louis where she received the International
program Century 21 designations for 2@1, Career Management, VIP Sales
Training, and Effective Financing. Each year, Sue attends continuing
education classes where she earned her ABR designation and has completed
the required classes to qualify her to take and pass the Illinois
State Brokers license exam in 1996.
Sue is a member of the Lamoine Valley Board of Realtors, The Illinois Association
of Realtors, and The National Association of Realtors, and actively lists and
sells in Schyler, McDonough, Fulton, Hancock, and Warren counties.
In 1993, after completing the required 30 hour Prescribed Course in Real Estate
Practice and Ethics she received her Graduate Realtors Institute of Illinois
certification. She continues to attend the Graduate GRI courses given each
year. Early in her career, Sue earned the Bronze Lifetime IAR President's Club
Award, the Silver IAR President's Club Award, and the Century 21 Million Dollar
Award for sales.
Sue was born and raised on a farm near Ipava in Fulton County. Upon graduation
from VIT, she lived in Springfield while working for the State of Illinois
for many years before returning to Ipava to marry and raise her 2
sons, Weston and Joshua. Weston graduated with a bachelors degree in Law Enforcement
from WIU in 2003, attended the State of Missouri Law Enforcement Training Academy and was recently a deputy sheriff in Ozark, MO. before reporting to the United States Border Patrol training at Artesia, New Mexico. Joshua received his degree in Graphic
Design from ICC and is now a member of Local 649 and employed
by Caterpillar, Inc. as Product Demonstrator at Edwards, IL.
Sue
is a member of the Ipava Presbyterian Church where she served as
deacon, the Ipava Chapter #226 Order of the Eastern Star, VIT Mothers
Club, and the VIT Boosters Club. She enjoys time spent with her 2
granddaughters, family, friends, and Himalayan cat, Soshia. In her
spare time, she enjoys reading, 4-wheeling, fishing, going to antique auctions,
working in the garden, walking in the woods, and relaxing in her
backyard pool.
Sue looks forward to the opportunity of working with and listening to past
and future clients' needs, wants, and preferences in the hopes of making each
Real Estate transaction as enjoyable as possible.
