Larry Lynn was raised on a farm in Cass, Morgan and Rock Island Counties where he graduated from the United Township High School in East Moline.

In 1957 he attended the Illinois State Police Academy in Springfield, Illinois. Larry served in the Elgin and Peoria State Police Districts where he was assigned to patrol duties until his reassignment to the Macomb District as Public Information Officer where he remained until his retirement in 1986 with 30 years of service.

Larry received many awards including the National Red Cross Life Saving Award. He was an instructor in First Aid and CPR, Riot Control and Driver's Training at the Academy.

Larry is a member of the Illinois Police Assoc., International Police Assoc., Illinois Troopers Lodge #41 F.O.P., Woodstock Moose Lodge #1329, Macomb Elks Lodge #1009, and a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3698 where he held several offices including trustee and president. He served as the 1999-2000 Illinois State President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles; was International Director of the Jimmy Durante Children's fund for the U.S. and Canada in 2002-2003; and was inducted into the IL State F.O.E. Hall of Fame in 2001-2002. He is currently serving as Central Regional Chairman of the Robert Hanson Diabetes Charity Fund for Indiana and Illinois.

He has served as McDonough County Red Cross Chapter Chairman and has been active in the Cancer Fund and United Way Fund Raising activities. He is also a member of the W.I.U. Leatherneck Club, the Gold Hills Golf Club as well as a member of the Lamoine Valley Board of Realtors currently serving as a vice president. He is the past-chairman of the MLS committee. Macomb Chamber of Commerce serving on the Government Relations and Transportation committees. Currently he is serving as chairman of the Government Relations committee.

Licensed since 1983, Larry has been associated with Century 21 Purdum-Epperson, Inc. since 1990. He has attended Century 21 classes in 2+1 Training, V.I.P. Sales Associate, Effective Financing, Personal Career Management, 21 Plus, and Steve Woodruff's Workshop on Consulting Sellers Successfully. He has a GRI designation and is a 1993 member of the Century 21 Masters Club, and the Million Dollar Club in 2001 and 2005.

Larry has 4 daughters and 12 grandchildren and resides at 306 Scotch Pine Drive in Macomb. He looks forward to helping old and new clients with all of their residential, commercial and farm REAL ESTATE needs.
