KEN EPPERSON
Ken holds two degrees from WIU and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University. Prior to joining WIU he was Assistant Director of Special Education for the State of Illinois. Ken received the Alumni Achievement Award from WIU in 1987 and was named to the WIU Athletic Hall of Fame in 1996, having lettered in football, basketball, and track for four years. During the 20 years Ken has been in real estate, he has earned many awards including Realtor of the Year from the Lamoine Valley Board of Realtors and Century 21 Masters Club in three different years. Ken is a Master Woodturner and Woodcarver. He enjoys playing golf, attending WIU sporting events, WIU performing arts, and is a genealogy enthusiast. Other organizations of which Ken is a member include Kiwanis Club, American Legion, Elks Club, Macomb Country Club, Masonic Lodge, Consistory, Mohammad Shrine of Peoria, First Presbyterian Church, and WIU Leathernecks Athletic Club (Past President). He was a member of the Macomb Kiwanis Club for many years as well as the Springfield Cosmopolitan Club. A sampling of Ken's wood working projects.

Kenneth B. Epperson became involved in real estate approximately 20 years ago after retiring from Western Illinois University. He worked in administration at WIU as Director of Community College/University Relations. Prior to his work in higher education, he was Superintendent of Schools in the Northwestern School District. He also served as high school principal, industrial education teacher, and basketball and track coach.
